Low GI smoothie
Ingredients:
1 large banana, chopped
1 large mango, flesh removed and choppe
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1 cup low-fat milk or 1 cup light soymilk, chilled
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt or 1/2 cup soy yogurt
2 teaspoons pure floral honey or 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or 2 teaspoons rice syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into two tall glasses and serve.
