This is from an old Pillsbury cookbook that is falling apart. I don't have the front cover and part of the pages are torn. So, I'm going to share these before the book is completely destroyed.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tbs butter
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups pillsbury's best
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar, add the eggs, well-beaten, and then the milk.
2. Sift the flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg together and add them to the butter mixture.
3. Roll out 1/2 thick, cut out with a doughnut cutter and fry in deep fat.
4. When they are cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
