Baking Powder Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup margerine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F
  2. Mix flour, margerine, salt, and baking powder together
  3. If you're adding cheese mix it in now
  4. Mix in milk lightly
  5. Pat out on floured surface (may want to work in a little extra flour)
  6. Cut out desired shapes place onto baking sheet
  7. Bake for 15 minutes
