This recipe is from Melting Pot Potluck. It was put together to announce the arrival of the new pastor and his wife. Origin: USA. Ingredients:
1 (7 ounce) can tuna fish |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1 tablespoon onion, minced |
2 tablespoons celery, chopped |
1/2 cup cracker crumb |
3 tablespoons butter, melted |
2 cups milk, scalded |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 1/2 tablespoons flour |
3/4 cup water |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish |
1 (6 ounce) can shrimp |
Directions:
1. Flake tuna into greased baking dish. Combine other ingredients, except sauce ingredients and pour over tuna. Bake in 325* oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes. To make sauce: Mix butter, flour, water, and lemon juice and cook over low heat until thick and smooth. Add pickle relish and shrimp. Serve over baked tuna. |
