1. Mix first 6 ingredients. 2. Cut out and discard hard center core of cabbage. 3. Put cabbage in large pot and pour boiling water over it. 4. Let stand until leaves are flexible and can easily be removed from the head. 5. Fill each leaf with prepared mixture then roll up and fasten with toothpicks. 6. Sprinkle with salt and dredge in flour then brown in fat. 7. Add tomato sauce then cover and bake at 300 for 2 hours.
