A simple yet flavorful dish my mother taught me. One of my most requested recipes.
Ingredients:
1 cup rice, uncooked
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef consomme
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3/8 cup butter (6 tbs margarine)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in casserole dish.
2. Cook at 350 for 35 minutes, stir and cook another 15 - 25 minutes.
