A different twist from your ordinary oatmeal.
Ingredients:
2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup skim milk
1 whole egg, plus
1 egg white (or 1/4 cup egg substitute)
1/2 cup applesauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Mix Oatmeal and baking powder.
2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Pour in sprayed 9 pie pan or casserole dish or sprayed muffin tins.
4. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
