Our you looking for a tasty twist on your bowl of Oats. This recipe will give you plenty of taste with a warm hearty way to start the day. I added blueberries and milk.
Ingredients:
3 cups of oats
1 cup of brown sugar ( i used less sugar)
2 tsp of ground cinnamon
2tsp of baking powder
2tsp of vanilla
1tsp salt
1/2 cup of melted butter
2 eggs
3/4 cups of diced apples or raisins
, i added 2 tbs of flax seed
Directions:
1. Directions : Preheat Oven to 350*
2. In a large bowl mix : oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt Then beat in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla stir in apples or raisins. dump into a 9x13 pan and cook for 40 minutes
3. Store any leftovers in a zip lock bag in a cool dry place.
