This is a delicious twist on an old breakfast stand by! My whole family loves it and it is relatively simple to make. Don't be afraid to make your own additions. Sometimes I like to add apples, nuts, or raisins.
Ingredients:
3 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 eggs
4 tablespoons margarine, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup blueberries
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a large bowl mix oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
3. Mix in milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
4. After all other ingredients are mixed together add blueberries.
5. Spray a 10x13 pan with cooking spray.
6. Pour into a 10x13 cake pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
7. Smooth into a uniform layer and bake for about 35 minutes at 350.
