This is a recipe that I got back when I was doing the Weight Watchers program. The recipes makes 6 servings 3 points each.
Ingredients:
2 cups water, boiling
2 cups skim milk
2 cups oatmeal (not quick cooking)
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup raisins
2 apples, chopped (or use pears)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine water, milk, oats and salt in casserole.
3. Let stand for 5 minutes.
4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
5. Bake covered for 45 minutes.
6. Uncover for last 5 minutes of baking.
7. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
