Baked Macaroni And Cheese

I didn't grow up on macaroni and cheese - but boy has it become a comfort food!
Ingredients:
7-8 oz elbow macaroni
3 tbs butter
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 tbs grated onion
1 tbs flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dry mustard
2 cups milk
1/2 lb. sharp american cheese, grated
paprika
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni as directed; drain. Preheat frypan on med-high heat. Melt 2 TBS butter, add crumbs, brown, stirring. Remove. Add remaining butter and onions, lower heat and saute. Blend in flour, salt, pepper and mustard. Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese.
2. Drain macaroni and mix in lightly with a fork. Top with remaining cheese and crumbs. sprinkle with paprika. Cover and bake until bubbly and hot.
