Baked Cinnamon Apples/Pears

Ingredients:
2 apples or pears
1 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
2 tablespoon(s) butter
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375.
2. Peel the fruit cut them in half.
3. Sprinkle with a little of the brown sugar.
4. Bake at 375 in a baking pan with a about a half inch of water in the pan, until tender enough.
5. Remove from oven. Place 1/2 tbs. of butter on each apple and then cover with 1/4 cup brown sugar. Return to oven until sugar is melted.
6. Serve hot. Is great with a scoop of low fat ice vanilla cream.
