Baked Brie With Cran-raisins

Something easy and savory for your New Year's Eve celebrations
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 to 1 cup cran-raisins or cranberries
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 wheel of brie cheese
1/2 package of puff pastry defrosted and unfolded
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees
2. Brown onions in butter cooking on low.
3. Stir in brown sugar, cran-raisins or cranberries, balsamic vinegar, heat together on low for five minutes.
4. Open up puff pastry sheet.
5. Cut off top of brie.
6. Place cheese in center of pastry.
7. Spread cran-raisin onion jam mixture on top of Brie.
8. Gently pull up puff pastry to completely enclose the brie and cranberry onion jam.
9. (can brush the outside with some beaten egg white to facilitate browing)
10. Bake on 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
11. Serve with apple or pear slices, water crackers or toast rounds..
