Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients:
2 acorn squash
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon basil
Directions:
1. Wash squash and cut in half; remove seeds.
2. Place cut side down in a shallow baking dish containing water.
3. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Turn cut side up.
4. Put 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon butter in each half.
5. Sprinkle with pepper, season all and basil leaves. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
