Bacon Fried Carrots

These are incredible! I like to serve them with a steak or a roast. YUM!!
Ingredients:
2 lbs carrots
2 medium onions
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
8 slices bacon
Directions:
1. Peel carrots, cut in half and slice lengthwise.
2. Chop onion into small pieces.
3. Cook bacon until crisp; remove and blot.
4. Using all the bacon grease, add carrots, onions and seasonings.
5. Mix well and cook covered on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
6. Cook uncovered about 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
7. Stir occasionally.
8. Crumble bacon and add to carrots.
