This summer dessert makes a beautiful presentation when layered in a glass serving dish. Ingredients:
1 angel food cake |
8 ounces cream cheese |
12 ounces cool whip |
1 cup powdered sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
4 cups strawberries |
1 package strawberry pie filling, gel (2 cups) |
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese, Cool Whip, powdered sugar& vanilla together.
2. Break cake into pieces.
3. Combine strawberries& pie filling gel together.
4. Layer cake pieces, topped with cream cheese mixture, then strawberry mixture on top in glass serving dish.
