These are delicious and easy to make, for one or for many! Very easy to put together, there are very few ingredients. You can also create some heat by adding a few crushed red pepper flakes in with the avocado mix.
Ingredients:
2 avocados, mashed
4 flour tortillas
3 tablespoons green chilies, diced
2 cups monterey jack cheese, grated
butter, melted
2 tablespoons onions, diced
3/4 cup bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 pinch garlic powder (optional)
salt, to taste (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine avocados, chiles, cheese, onion and bacon, mixing well. Divide mixture in fourths, and spread mixture on each tortilla, leaving a 1/4-inch edge. Fold each tortilla in half and crimp edges.
2. Brush a large skillet and tortillas with melted butter.
3. Fry until golden brown or until cheese melts. Cut each into 4 wedges and serve immediately.
