A delectable little between-course sorbet delicious with lamb, turkey or game. From the Western chapter of the United States Regional Cookbook, Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, 1947.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 large avocados, ripe
1/4 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/3 cup lime juice
Directions:
1. Peel and remove seed from avocadoes; force pulp through sieve.
2. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
3. Pour into freezing tray and freeze for 2 to 4 hours, stirring once to break up large crystals during the freezing process.
