This dish is a fresh fun summer salad thats full of vitamins and antioxidents....
Ingredients:
salad greens of choice
dried cranberries
strawberries
blueberries
candied walnuts
dried dill
zest of lemon
grilled chicken or shredded roasted chicken
cherry tomatoes
blue cheese
avocado
the dressing any lite vinigret, i prefer a zesty one with some ginger and citrus flavors. but what ever you have thats tangy and light will do.
Directions:
1. Slice all the fruits (the avocado too!) and add to bowl
2. sprinkle dill throughout the greens
3. zest lemon about a Table Spoon
4. toss in dried cranberries
5. toss in tomatoes
6. add chicken
7. add blue cheese
8. Avocado
9. TOSS!!!
10. add a few drizzles of your dressing just enough to coat and blend together and then plate.
11. The flavors all contrast but yet marry together so well and all the flavors just Pop! in your mouth The creamy bite of the Avocado the sweet and salty taste of the candied walnuts and the blue cheese just sets it off. The Dill seems to give a clean butter taste to the salad. I Love it!
