Ingredients:
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
3 cups v-8 juice, more if needed
1 cup molasses
1/2 cup bacon bits
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder (1 cup fresh diced onion if you like)
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground ginger (i prefer the bite of dry ginger here to fresh)
Directions:
1. In large pot add all ingredients and bring to boil
2. turn to low heat, cover and let simmer 1/2 hour
3. Great options to extend or make more substantial would be to add kielbasa or other fav sausage, even hot dogs
