These savory Mexican phyllo cups makr a great appetizer or after school snack. You can make in advance,store in airtight container and reheat at 350' for 10 mins or so. Found this on Mexican Ingredients:
15 mini phyllo cups |
1/3 c whipped cream cheese |
1/3 c vegetarian refried beans |
1 tb salsa |
1 tsp chopped green chilies |
1/4 tso mild chili powder |
1/2 c shredded mexican cheese blend(or shredded cheddar cheese)divided |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350' 2. Arrange mininphyllo cups in single layer on baking sheet. 3. Stir together whipped cream cheese,refried beans,salsa,green chilies,chili powder and 1/3 c shredded cheese. 4. Spoon into prepared shells. Top with remaining cheese. Bake 5 to 10 mins till cheese is melted. |
