This is a great guacamole recipe that my Aunt and Uncle have had for over 30 years, from his mother and father from Mexico. Really good! Ingredients:
3 -4 avocados |
1 (14 ounce) carton sour cream |
1 (24 ounce) can diced tomatoes or 1 (24 ounce) can roma tomatoes |
1 large onion |
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies |
1 fresh jalapeno |
2 garlic cloves |
fresh cilantro |
1 lemon |
Directions:
1. In a food processor or salsa maker or even a blender, add the Tomato, Cilantro, Garlic, Jalapeno and Onion until it is the right consistancy. 2. Next add the can of diced chilis. 3. In a separate bowl mash up the avocado and add sour cream until it is smooth. 4. Combine with the vegetables and mix in lemon juice. 5. Add salt to taste. |
