This fruit smoothie incorporates a shot of wheat grass swirling in the mix which give it its Northern Lights Effect, Best as a breakfast replacement. CAUTION: Wheat Grass is a very powerful detox. It will pull out toxins and most likely make you feel nauseous if you have never tried wheat grass before. Read more . It is however extremely healthy.
Ingredients:
2 oranges
1 cup of strawberry's
1 banana
1 cup of ice
agave syrup
1oz shot of wheatgrass (juiced fresh with a wheatgrass juicer / or bought pre-frozen then thawed)
Directions:
1. Juice your oranges and throw juice into blender
2. Then add strawberries, banana, ice, and about an ounce of agave syrup in the blender
3. Blend, (if it is not blending well try adding about an ounce or two of water)
4. After blended add wheat grass shot on top, take a spoon handle and draw a zig zag line on top so the shot soaks into the blend and wont pour out before the blend.
5. Pour into 16 oz glass and enjoy.
