Aunt Sarah's Cole Slaw

This is my signature summer contribution to any gathering, and it always gets much attention and many compliments. Aunt Sarah is long gone, but she was quite the innovative and inspirational cook from Atlanta, GA.
Ingredients:
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup golden raisin
1/2 cup celery heart, chopped
1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped (walnuts may be substituted)
1 large apple, cubed
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons condensed sweet milk
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 pinch sugar
Directions:
1. In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet milk, vinegar and sugar. Blend thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and toss gently until evenly coated.
