This is the perfect after work snack, it has a comforting and refreshing flavor. My mom made this when we were younger and I have adapted and made it my own. tip: you can also substitute orange juice instead of pineapple, both are delicious! chill the glass in the refrigerator for a few minutes if desired.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk (i use 2%)
1 very ripe banana
1/3 cup pineapple juice
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 dash cinnamon
2 -3 drops mint extract
Directions:
1. Place first three ingredients in blender, (milk, banana and pineapple juice) and blend for 15 seconds on medium speed or until banana is smooth.
2. Add ice cream, cinnamon and mint extract and blend for another 20-30 seconds.
3. Pour into tall glass, drink and enjoy!
