The taste is actually indescribable. A sweet vanilla cookie dough with astro's or smarties in it. Wilmarie (11) made this. Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter (50 g, 60 ml) |
4 tablespoons castor sugar (60 ml) |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla (5 ml) |
3/5 cups of flour (150 ml , 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons) |
pinch of salt |
50 g smarties or astro's or chocolate morsels |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar and butter well.
2. Separately, mix egg and vanilla well.
3. Pour the egg mixture into the sugar mixture.
4. Mix well.
5. Sift the flour and salt into the batter.
6. Stir until smooth.
7. Stir in the smarties, astros or morsels.
8. Spoon some dough onto a baking tray.
9. Bake at 180 deg C (350 deg F) for 10 - 15 minutes until golden brown.
10. Let it cool down.
11. Enjoy!
