Asparagus Pasta

Ingredients:
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 dashes hot pepper sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 lb cooked mostaccioli pasta
1 lb fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook garlic, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil and butter for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add asparagus and pepper.
3. Saute until asparagus is crisp-tender (about 8-10 minutes).
4. Add parmesan cheese; mix well.
5. Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.
6. Sprinkle with additional shredded parmesan if desired.
7. Serve immediately.
