This dish puts a light, tangy spin on cole slaw. I don't like the traditional, mayo version, but this one is great and healthy!
Ingredients:
1 small head napa cabbage, sliced thinly
1 bunch green onions, chopped thinly
1 pkg chicken flavored ramen noodles, broken up
salt and pepper to taste
handful toasted almonds
for dressing
1/2 cup veggie oil
1/4 - 1/2 cup white wine vinegar (depending on your taste)
seasoning packet from noodles
handful toasted sesame seeds
1 tsp dark sesame oil
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients together to make the dressing.
2. Pour dressing over cabbage, onions and noodles and mix well.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste
4. Let set overnight for seasonings to blend and noodles to soften
5. Add almonds before serving
