This Asian Black Bean Sauce is full of flavor from the gingerroot and crushed red pepper. It's also easy to make because everything goes into one pan.
Ingredients:
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, undrained
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated peeled gingerroot
1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.
