Apple Whole Wheat Waffle

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup walnuts, coarsely ground toasted
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 egg whites
2 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 1/2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 cup apple sauce
Directions:
1. In medium bowl stir together all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, oats, walnuts, baking powder, and cinnamon.
2. In a large bowl, beat egg whites with an electric mixer on medium speed until very foamy.
3. Stir in buttermilk, oil and apple sauce.
4. Gradually add flour mixture, beating by hand until smooth.
