Apple snack featured in the July 2009 Seventeen magazine. HOWEVER: I can't get the recipe analyzer to recognize fat free cream cheese. So this recipe is probably has fewer calories than this says. For instance 1/3 cup of fat free cream cheese has 74 calories while 1/3 cup of cream cheese has 263. SO this recipe actually has 293 calories. Much more manageable as a snack
Ingredients:
1 apple
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup fat free sour cream
0.33 cup fat free cream cheese
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp splenda
Directions:
1. Core the apple and cut it into wedges then toss the apple wedges with lemon juice to keep them from turning brown
2. Whisk together the sour cream, cream cheese, cinnamon, and sugar substitute. Microwave for 30 seconds.
3. Place the apple wedges on plates with the cinnamon cream. Dip and enjoy!
