Apple Sauce Bread Pudding |

Nice quick bread pudding with a little twist you serve it cold... Ingredients:
5 cups bread torn into bite size pieces |
3 cups scaled milk |
1 cup apple sauce |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup melted butter can use margarine |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
1/2 tsp. nutmeg |
1/2 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350*F 2. Grease a 9 X 13 pan. 3. In a saucepan heat milk and butter until warm but not boiling to create scaled milk 4. In large bowl tear apart bread into bite size pieces to create breadcrumbs 5. Then in another bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together well. 6. When milk is ready pour over breadcrumbs then allow to soak for 10 minutes. 7. Then combine the wet ingredients with the bread mixture. 8. Then place into greased pan. 9. Bake for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean then allow to cool to room tempature then place in refrigerator. 10. Cut into squares to serve. |
