Very tasty dessert. We love it and hope you do as well.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup apple juice
1 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons raisins
1 cup diced fresh apples
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped pecans
1/4 cup honey
Directions:
1. Combine rice, juice, water, salt, oil and raisins then bring to a boil.
2. Cover and cook slowly for 40 minutes then add apples and stir in thoroughly.
3. Cook 10 minutes longer then add nuts and honey.
4. Serve warm or chilled
