Apple Pie Liqueur

This is great for tailgating and fall gatherings or, maybe, as gifts. As the name implies it tastes just like “Apple Pie”.
Ingredients:
1/2 gallon apple juice (from bottle or concentrate)
1 gallon apple cider
1 (750 ml) bottle everclear alcohol (75% or 151 proof)
6 cinnamon sticks
3 cups sugar
3 cups brown sugar
Directions:
1. Combine apple juice, cider, cinnamon sticks and sugar in a large pot and bring to a boil on the stove. Simmer 15-20 minutes until all the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
2. Remove cinnamon sticks. Stir in alcohol. Pour into clean bottles (empty liquor bottles work great or Mason jars) and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
