A low fat dessert bar.
Ingredients:
2 egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups apples, chopped, unpeeled
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
Directions:
1. In a bowl, whisk egg whites, sugar and vanilla for about 1 1/2 minute. Add flour and baking powder, whisk for 1 minute. Fold in the apples and pecans.
2. Pour into an 8-inch square baking pan coated with non-stick cooking spray.
3. Bake at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes or until the bars test done.
