This is a beverage from a Nita Mehta Cookbook 'Low fat desserts'that is nice.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup apple juice
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons sugar or 2 teaspoons honey or 2 teaspoons artificial sweetener, to taste
1/2 cup bottled soda pop
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except the soda in a glass.
2. Top with the chilled soda.
3. Drink/ Serve immediately.
