Apple Fruit Bread

Moist and yummy.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup apple juice
1 large tart apple, peeled and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup maraschino cherry, halved
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Combine egg and apple juice; stir into dry ingredients. Fold in apple, raisins, walnuts and cherries. Transfer to a greased 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pan.
2. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
