My family loves these little fritters! They are delicious and so easy to do. Cook time does count the refrigerate time.
Ingredients:
2 cups self rising flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs well beaten
1 cup milk
2 cups tart apples, chopped
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients. Gradually add beaten eggs and milk
2. combined.
3. Refrigerate batter for about 2 hours.
4. Stir in the apples.
5. Drop by tablespoon into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
6. Roll in powdered sugar or a sugar/cinnamon combination.
