Apple Dumplings

This can be eaten alone or can be served with ice cream...
Ingredients:
2 cans refrigerated cresent dinner rolls
2 cooking apples (figi is good)
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (12oz) can of mountain dew soft drink (not diet)
Directions:
1. Peel, core and slice each apple into 8 pieces.
2. Place an apple slice into each triangle of cresent roll dough.
3. Roll up from large end to small end.
4. Place all rolled up slices in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
5. In a small sauce pan melt butter; add sugar and cinnamon
6. to this mixture..
7. Pour butter mixture over dumplings; pour mountain due over all.
8. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
