Easy recipe to make; no eggs and no milk for people with allergies.
Ingredients:
6 -8 apples, quartered
2/3-3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup soft butter
Directions:
1. Place apples in greased 8-inch square pan.
2. Blend remaining ingredients until crumbly; spread over apples.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
4. Serve warm with hard sauce, if desired.
