Based on apple-ritz crips. From taste it needs to be more sweeter and better developed rather than throwing raw apples onto the pan. For those expert cooks please e-mail me on what I could do better on this recipe (still making it healthier but more flavorful like apple pie). Thanks!
Ingredients:
1 jumbo egg
1 tbs butter
3 servings ritz crackers, crushed
1/5 cups brown sugar
3 tbs lemon juice
1/2 medium banana
3 apples, peeled, thinly sliced
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs cinnamon, ground
3 1/2 graham crackers, large rectangle
Directions:
1. Mix crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon. Then mix butter and egg.
2. Mix liquid with crumbs mixture.
3. Arrange apple slices in 9 pie plate (or anything else).
4. Pour lemon juice onto apples and pat crumb mix gently over apples
5. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and top is browned.
6. Serve warn topped with nonfat vanilla yogurt, Cool Whip Whipped Topping, or whipping cream.
