Mom's good old fall back apple crisp.
Ingredients:
water
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup sugar
1 dash nutmeg (1-2 shakes)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Slice apples into a square baking dish.
3. Add water to apples.
4. In a small bowl mix flour, sugar, butter and spices.
5. Blend until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
