This is Great with a Cup of Hot Coffee or Tea
Ingredients:
frozen poundcake 10.75 oz. thawed
8 ounce package cream cheese softened
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 medium granny smith apples
crumb topping
1/2 cup flour
1/2 chopped walnuts
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven to 375
2. Cut Cake into 16 Slices cover bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2 Pan
3. with Cake Slices
4. In a BowlCombine Cream Cheese, & Sugar. Whisk in Sour Cream,
5. Egg & Vanilla until Well Blended; Spread evenly over slices
6. Peel, Core, & Slice Apples. Cut Apples crosswise in 1/2 , Layer Apples evenly over Cream Cheese Mixture
7. Mix Crumb Topping Ingredients until Crumbly; Sprinkle Evenly over Apples
8. Bake 35 to 40 Minutes or until Apples are Tender & Topping is Golden. Makes 12
