Apple Cranberry Sauce

This is a twist on your open the can cranberry sauce, quick and easy to make.
Ingredients:
6 granny smith apples (peeled and diced)
1 (12 ounce) cranberries (fresh)
1 lemon (sliced and seeded)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup dried sweetened cranberries
Directions:
1. Stir together apples,fresh cranberries,lemon,sugar and water in a large saucepan over medium heat,bring to boil and stir often.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minute or until mixture starts to thicken.
3. Remove from heat, stir in dried cranberries.
4. Cool, cover and chill until read to serve.
5. Can be stored for up to 2 weeks in the frig.
