Apple - Cinnamon Loaf Cake

This quick, cake-like loaf is absolutely delicious and a winner in the fall. It has a very fine crumb and is very easy to make, not to mention freeze for later!
Ingredients:
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
3 tbsp sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 cup chunky applesauce or apple pie filling (i used my apple-quince sauce: apple quince sauce)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F, grease a loaf pan.
2. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl, set aside.
3. Mix flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.
4. Combine melted butter and sugars in a small bowl.
5. Add sour cream, buttermilk and egg, mixing well.
6. stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
7. Fold in applesauce.
8. Spoon half the batter into the pan.
9. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
10. Bake 1 hour, then cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing to a wire rack.
