A quick and delicious serving of oatmeal made with diced apples, dried cherries and walnuts.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup apple (cubed, small)
1/2 cup oats (old fashioned)
6 dried cherries (chopped)
4 walnut halves (chopped)
1 dash cinnamon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Directions:
1. In a small pan add oats, apples, cherries, walnuts, a sprinkling of cinnamon, and 1 cup of water. Stir together, and cook over low to medium heat until boiling and thick. Remove from heat, add brown sugar and a splash of milk, stir and serve.
