Apple Butter Cake

This is a perfect cake for the holidays. You can add more or less spice as you chose. The icing brings out the flavor as well, and since it is canned icing, it saves time during busy holiday baking.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups apple butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1 cup raisins
2/3 cup chopped nuts
1 (12 ounce) can coconut pecan frosting (i use betty crocker brand)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan, dust with flour.
3. Beat all ingredients except raisins and frosting, in large bowl.
4. Stir in raisins and nuts.
5. Pour into prepared pan.
6. Bake aprox 30 min or until cake test done.
7. Cool and frost with the coconut-pecan frosting.
