Delicious apple bread
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups chopped apples
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. grease 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan
3. sifter together flour, baking soda, and salt
4. in a large bowl, cream shortening, sugar, and eggs.
5. Blend in flour mixture
6. add apples, milk and vanilla
7. pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan
8. Mix cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on batter
9. bake in 350 degree oven for 60 minutes
