Apple and Scallion Sausage Patties |

Easy to make the patties the night before and fry them up in a skillet the next morning. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground pork |
1 egg, beaten |
4 -5 scallions, finely chopped |
1 large tart apple, finely chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground sage |
1 tablespoon honey |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, with clean hands, mix all ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Form into 3/4 thick patties. 3. In a skillet over moderate heat, cook sausage patties until center is no longer pink. |
