I created this as a way to get my fussy toddler to eat more fruits and antioxidants. He LOVES it. You can use regular or diet Ginger Ale depending on your needs (I used diet since I'm diabetic). I used a blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry mix for the mixed berries. If you like this a little sweeter, use regular ginger ale and/or add Stevia or Honey to sweeten. A scoop of protein powder could be added if desired to increase protein content.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen blackberrie
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1 1/2 cups diet ginger ale (more or less to achieve desired consistency)
Directions:
1. Place frozen berries in a blender with the Pomegranate juice. Use pulse setting to grind until semi-smooth. Add ginger ale and blend on high until smooth.
